Three learners on our Foundation Degree in Animation & Creative Production course have seen their work published by the local NHS as part of the campaign to encourage children aged 7 – 12 to eat more healthily.
Jonathan Hurlock, Joseph Nachiala and Kiran Membang joined forces to create a series of designs that would resonate with their target audience while drawing in parents, carers and other family members with lifestyle tips and practical advice.
NHS Campaigns Officer Tom Warsop said, “We are all so pleased with the animation designs, and are grateful for the dedication of the students, and the support of the College overall”.
Barking & Dagenham College, with its dedication to providing Real Work Experience for our learners, is understandably proud of Jonathan, Joseph and Kiran for making their pitch for a Real World campaign and winning the commission. The “Which Weigh – A guide for children and young people” designs featured at the 2010 Town Show but can also be seen online at www.whichweighbd.nhs.uk
